Where will we be living?

_DSC0784.jpg

There are three houses you might be living at. Greenway Road, Middleway, or our community house. Greenway Road and Middleway are both shared houses and they have staff and cameras. .

All of the houses are in Taunton and they are close to parks, shops, activities, places of worship and doctors. All of the houses have the things that you would have at home; dishwashers, washing machines and tumble driers, as well as large, modern kitchens with microwaves.

Middleway

Middleway is a big Georgian townhouse close to the centre of town. It has six bedrooms, most of them are double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. There are two family bathrooms with roll top baths.

There are shared rooms downstairs, a playroom with craft cupboards and toys for the children, a big sitting room with sofas, an eating area and a large TV, and a snug for quiet family time.

our community house

This is child-friendly, safe home without cameras where families can live whilst community assessments are carried out. They are often used as a transitional placement between a residential assessment at one of the houses and the family's home community, although some families live there without having been in a residential placement.

The community house allows families to live independently and levels of supervision and assessment can be adapted based on the needs of the family and of the assessment.
